Things To Remember

Things to Remember

Remember that your presence is a present to the world.
Remember that you are a unique and unrepeatable creation.
Remember that your life can be what you want it to be.
Remember to count your blessings, not your troubles.
Remember that you will make it through whatever comes along.
Remember that most of the answers you need are within you.
Remember those dreams waiting to be realized.
Remember that decisions are too important to leave to chance.
Remember to always reach for the best that is within you.
Remember that nothing wastes more energy than worry.
Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck.
Remember that the longer you carry a grudge, the heavier it gets.
Remember to laugh.
Remember that a little love goes a long way.
Remember that a lot goes forever.
Remember that happiness is more often found in giving than getting.
Remember that life’s treasures are people, not things.

What is Loyalty?

Loyalty means the state or quality of being loyal; faithfulness to commitments or obligations. This is whether we are talking about love, family, friends and employees. One major problem is that people are not seen as valued in some cases. Think about all the folks unemployed and layed off who have been loyal for years to their employers. It’s a tough pill to swallow for people to work somewhere for what feels like forever. We can all be replace no matter how good of a job you do.

Now, when it comes to love, family and friends being loyal really counts. In my mind if you can’t be loyal then you don’t deserve to be a part of ones life. We all know lovers, friends and even co-workers that will turn on you at the drop of a dime. Most of the time it has NOTHING to do with you. People who are truly unhappy, jealous, and or have little self esteem are the ones to watch out for.

Remember, stay true to yourself and stay strong when people let you down. I have been there and survived much worse. Again, when one door closes another door opens! WOO HOO!

No More Excuses

My life has been very busy for the past year. I’ve been working close to 55 hours a week at my full time job. I used to blog everyday and need to get back to being CoachMarcie. Most of my coaching has been working with groups to help empower women to overcome their fears and reach for their dreams. I am now working with World Pulse as a mentor for a great pilot program.

Now, is the time for me to focus on myself and my clients. There has been a shift in my career that has me at the fork in the road. Which way do I go? I am a firm believer that when one door closes another one opens. So I pledge to my followers and myself to get back on track. Someone said to me “you’re a coach so therefore I should have my shit together”. I just rolled my eyes and laughed. I’m just like everyone else getting caught up in life but I have the will to move forward without looking back.
