Women helping women make their dreams reality
I have recently been asked to be a Mentor for World Pulse. The organization is a new international women’s correspondent program and network. It’s time to give back. The founder of WorldPulse is JENSINE LARSEN and below is her message to all and why to join this organization.
Founder’s Message
Our voices and visions will transform the future.
“I want to tell my story.”
“I have a vision, but I need some support to realize it.”
“I want space to collaborate and make a difference.”
Everywhere I go, I hear these similar yearnings from women over and over again.
I arrived in the Amazon at the age of 19, determined to become a journalist. There, I listened to indigenous women struggling to protect their land from oil contamination, and later I worked with women refugees on the war-torn Burma-Thailand border. Since then, traveling around the world as an international journalist and founding World Pulse, I constantly find myself asking women what they need to realize their visions.
By watching countless women accomplish amazing things I have learned that it is entirely possible for us to achieve our visions—and I believe that these visions have the potential to change the world.
I notice that when we speak our visions out loud, they come alive—whether we want to start a business, change a law, feed our children or find our purpose in life. Often, we simply need to connect to the right support network to make it happen.
We are creating PulseWire as a place where we can come together make our visions a reality. On PulseWire we have the power to build an unstoppable global community of women — a community with outstretched hands, supporting each other’s dreams and together, transforming the future.
Join us. Add YOUR voice. We’re listening.
